This page provides resources for administering the Smarter Balanced Assessments for Mathematics and English Language Arts. The Secure Browser for use with Mac computers running OS 10.13 is now available for download on the Secure Browser page of the portal. This browser must be installed on each computer that has OS 10.13 in order to take the summative and interim assessments.
The secure browsers for the 2018—2019 school year are now available for download on the Secure Browsers page of the portal. The new version of the secure browser is required for all 2018-2019 online test administrations. The portal acts as the gateway to all your assessment systems and provides resources to help students, families, and educators prepare for the administration of Delaware State System of Assessments (DeSSA), including the Smarter Balanced Assessments in Mathematics and English Language Arts/Literacy and the Delaware Comprehensive Assessment System (DCAS) Science. The AIRSecureTest Mobile Secure Browser is available from the Google Play store. The process for installing the Secure Browser is the same as for any other application. 1. On your Android, tap the download link above. The AIRSecureTest application download page appears. 2. Tap Install, and then tap Accept. The AIRSecureTest Mobile Secure Supported Browsers; Register for email updates. This portal contains information about the West Virginia General Summative Assessments and English Language Proficiency Assessments. This page will provide you with resources and system links appropriate to your role. Open Downloads from the Dock, and double-click CT SecureBrowserX.X-YYYY-MM-DD-signed.dmg to display its contents. 4. Drag the CT SecureBrowser icon to the folder. This installs the Secure Browser into Applications. 5. South Dakota Smarter Balanced Assessment Help Desk at 1-855-838-8378 or SDHelpDesk@air.org. The Help Desk is open Monday–Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Central Time (except holidays or as otherwise indicated on the SD SBAC portal). During these hours, staff will respond promptly to calls. After August 31, any older versions of the desktop Secure Browser will not be supported for Online Tools Training, Screener, or Summative tests. The 2019-20 Secure Browser for Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems can be downloaded from the Secure Browsers page. If you have any questions, please contact the LA ELPT Help Desk. For 2019–2020, a Secure Browser must be installed on each computer or tablet that will be used for student testing.
